design sublime presents More Women Painting, works by 50 artists invited by Michelle Weinberg.
The fifty artists in More Women Painting hail from Miami, New York, Midwest, New England and Europe. Collectively, the group of artists has been awarded Guggenheim Foundation awards, Pollock-Krasner Foundation awards, Joan Mitchell Foundation awards for painting, and NEA awards, among others. Several are department chairs of painting programs at prominent colleges across the U.S. Many are published authors, critics and curators at all stages in their careers. The exhibition is truly indicative of the diverse approaches to painting today.
More Women Painting is a co-production of design sublime, Girls’ Club and Available Space.
